Good Neighbor Award: Jupiter Environmental Services

Jupiter Environmental Services is a construction service company that provides asbestos abatement, demolition, insulation and lead paint removal for homes, businesses and public institutions throughout New Jersey and New York State. Annabel Pierce is president of the company, which has offices in Pine Brook, Albany, and Rochester.

Their headquarters at 323 Changebridge Rd. was once old manufacturing building that had been vacant and neglected for years. Jupiter purchased the property in February 2011 and began a lengthy process of acquiring N.J. Department of Environmental Protection permits and planning and zoning board approvals to improve and repurpose the building and the property. The remodeling process included complete exterior and interior building improvements, a construction yard, landscaping, streetscape lighting, and a sidewalk.

“It was definitely a labor of love, and we are proud of our new offices and the convenient location,” said Pierce. “Thank you to the Montville Township Chamber of Commerce for the ‘Good Neighbor’ award. Montville Township is not just my place of business, but also a town where I live and my children attend school. I take pride in community service, and it means a great deal to myself and my company to be selected to receive this award from such an amazing group of businesses and individuals.”
